As the Humectant - we have chosen to give you hyaluronic acid which can hold up to 1000 times its weight in H2O or 6 liters per gram (a very greedy molecule).
As the emollient we have given you Dimethicone which gives you a relaxed and silky feel (a molecule that is nice and and easy going it won't clog your pores, break you out, without being greasy and will not reducing your shine). The less stressed the skin is, the better.

Suggested use:
